BODY · OBJECT · SPACE

A quieter version of the world.

LS•STUDIO is the independent neuro-spatial design practice of Lucía Silva, working across body-scale pieces, objects, furniture and spatial experiences as filters between the intensity of the world and the sensitivity of the body.

Working through form, light, matter and immersive technologies, each project explores how the world can reach us differently.

A FILTER DOES NOT REMOVE THE WORLD

It changes how the world reaches the body.

A filter can soften light, absorb sound, create distance, support posture, slow movement or open space for attention.

Across body, object and space, the form changes.

The intention remains: protection without isolation.

THE PRACTICE

The scale changes. The intention remains: to shape how intensity is received, filtered and transformed.

One practice. Three scales.

BODY

Body Fragments

The filter closest to the skin.

Wearable and body-scale studies exploring contact, pressure, support, protection and temporary boundaries.

Developed through speculative research, digital sculpture, material testing and physical prototyping, each fragment begins with the relationship between form and body.

OBJECT

Fragments of Refuge

The filter within reach.

Objects, lighting, furniture, surfaces and atmospheric pieces translating rest, intimacy, gathering and sensory regulation into form.

Each fragment is conceived as a small spatial condition: something that can hold light, support posture, create proximity or introduce a quieter rhythm into an interior.

SPACE

Spatial Experiences

The filter around the body.

Physical, ephemeral and immersive environments developed through threshold, sequence, atmosphere, form, light and matter.

These experiences explore how a space can lower intensity, redirect attention and create protection without disconnecting the body from its surroundings.

The body perceives.

LS•STUDIO does not reproduce natural forms literally. It studies their intelligence: density, porosity, articulation, tension, permeability, protection and release.

Matter is not applied after form.

It participates in how the work is experienced.

From intuition to matter.

The work moves between speculative research, AI-assisted visual exploration, digital sculpture, physical prototyping, material testing and spatial design.

Intuition identifies a tension.

Research gives it structure.

Visual exploration opens possible directions.

Digital modelling gives precision.

Prototyping introduces gravity, resistance and scale.

The body tests the relationship.

Space amplifies it.

AI is not the subject of the work. It is one tool within a continuous process of imagining, testing and making.

SERVICES

Work with LS•STUDIO

The studio works with private clients, collectors, architects, interior designers, brands and cultural or wellness-led organisations.

Request a Piece

Select an existing Body Fragment or object concept and develop its scale, material and finish as a made-to-order piece.

Commission a Fragment

Develop a bespoke body-scale piece, light, object, furniture element or material intervention for a person, interior or specific context.

Spatial Concepts & Experiences

Create a physical, ephemeral or immersive environment through spatial sequence, atmosphere, form, light and matter.

The studio can lead the concept, sensory direction and visual or immersive development.

Consultancy & Collaborations

Work with the studio on speculative concepts, sensory strategy, material research, immersive design and creative direction — independently or alongside architects, designers, manufacturers and brands.

JOURNAL

Thinking through body, matter and space.

The Journal is the research layer of LS•STUDIO: essays, material observations, process studies and reflections on perception, technology and space.

It is where the questions behind the work remain open, visible and evolving.

ORIGIN

Sensitivity is not a weakness.

It is a way of reading the world.

LS•STUDIO emerged from a personal return to the body, the mountain and a quieter form of attention.

This origin continues to shape how the studio understands protection, threshold, material and return.

Begin with the relationship you want to create.

Tell me what you are imagining, where it will exist and how you would like the body to experience it.
